Cape Town offers a vast range of outdoor activities.  The choice of sports you can do in Cape Town is endless.  Jogging on the beach, hiking in the mountains, diving in the ocean, kayaking, biking, surfing, you name it.  If you are an adrenalin junkie do not miss the opportunity to meet the Great White Sharks while being dropped to the Atlantic Ocean in a cage.  Paraglide trips, offering a magnificent views, start almost daily from the Lion's Head, depending on the weather conditions.

Cape Town - South Africa - Paragliding  Tandem Paragliding

Due to its natural beauty, Cape Town is the top destination to do your tandem paraglide flight.  All tandem pilots are highly experienced Tandem Flight Instructors (TFI) certified by the South African Association of Paragliding (SAHPA).  No previous paragliding experience is required.  The flights start at Lion's Head at the height of 669 meters above the sea level.  During your flight you will enjoy the stunning views of the Table Mountain, Twelve Apostles, beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay, Cape Town Citi Bowl and the Atlantic Ocean.

Cape Town diving  Cage Diving

We have two destinations near Cape Town where you can do your dive and see the Great White Sharks in their natural habitat.  Gaansbai is further away from Cape Town but offers cage diving all year round.  Simon's Town is closer to Cape Town but seasonally limited, with the season starting in February and ending in September.

Cage Diving Gaansbai  - 2 hours away from Cape Town, 1 day trip

Gaansbai is considered the world's centre of commercial cage diving.  We will be sailing around the Dryer Island where you will be able to observe whales, seals and penguins.  You will be dropped in a cage under the water surface where you will see Great White Sharks.  No diving license is required.

Price: R1,200 per person

Price includes breakfast and lunch but excludes transportation charged at R350 both ways.

Cage Diving Simon's Town - 45 min away from Cape Town, 1 day trip

Your cruise starting in Simon's Town will take you to the Seal Island in Flase Bay, a place where the White Great Sharks come to hunt and feed.  In June, July and August you will be able to observe an unusual activity called "breaching" where the one ton White Great Sharks jump above the sea surface.  This tour can be combines with the visit of the close by Boulder's Beach renowned for the colonies of the African Penguins or visit Cape Point. 

When in season, two trips per day are available, starting at 7 am or 1 am in Simon's Town.  Transportation from Cape Town can be arranged.

Cape Town - South Africa - Mountain Bikes  Mountain Biking & Cycling

There are plenty of biking and cycling scenic routes in and around Cape Town suitable for all kind of fitness levels.

Table Mountain Route

You will be dropped off with your bike at the lower station of the cable car leading to the top of the Table Mountain.  You will ride down the dirt path on the front side of the table mountain with spectacular view all around you. All biking equipment, including helmets and water bottles are provided.  Two trips per day are available 9 am to 12 am and 1pm to 4 pm.

Tokai Forest Route

This route is suitable for experienced bikers.  The path leads through rough forest terrain and offers magnificent view of Cape Town and the False Bay area.
